Wien & Malkin Industrial Partners II, L.P. remains on track for a launch this summer, continuing its program to acquire well located light industrial property that presents value-added opportunity for redevelopment and repositioning in the market. To position the new fund to hit the ground running, Peter and Anthony Malkin recently advanced the necessary dollars for IP II to take advantage of such an opportunity and contract for the acquisition of its initial investment, a warehouse/distribution facility in the Bunker Hill area of Charlestown, Mass., a section of Boston. Anthony Malkin works closely with Jonathan P. Garrity, President of Cambridge Hanover, who operates Industrial Partners on a day-to-day basis. All investment, financing, and sales decisions are presented to and require the approval of Anthony Malkin. Financial reporting and investor servicing are handled by Wien & Malkin. The first Industrial Partners fund acquired eight properties in six Eastern and Midwestern states, comprising more than 1.4 million square feet, focusing on major distribution hubs and port cities. IP II is anticipated to have a similar focus: to buy, redevelop and re-tenant, operate at a price advantage to new construction, and generate consistent annual cash distributions. As with all Wien & Malkin offerings, only Accredited Investors registered with Wien & Malkin in advance of an offering are eligible to participate in such offering. For information on accreditation, please see the contact page. This is not an offering, which can be made only by a Private Placement Memorandum to be reviewed carefully prior to any investment.
