Investors who have inherited units in older Wien & Malkin-led partnerships, or are the original investors in those partnerships, often comment that they do not receive invitations to participate in our current investment opportunities. The explanation is simple: these investors have not enrolled as an "accredited" investor with Wien & Malkin. All Wien & Malkin's transactions since 1988 have been private placements, open to accredited investors only. Securities laws require Wien & Malkin to pre-qualify investors as "accredited" before we can submit offering documents to them. Accreditation means an investor meets certain income, net worth or other tests that demonstrate a level of financial strength and sophistication. Even if you are a long-term owner of Wien & Malkin partnership units, you will not be on our list of accredited investors unless you have registered. A Simple Remedy The remedy: obtain an Accredited Investor Suitability Form by contacting us online at wienmalkin.com or by phone or fax (see contact box on page 4). Your information is strictly confidential and never shared with third parties. Once you are accredited with Wien & Malkin, you will automatically be invited to participate in future opportunities. But remember: You must already be on our list of accredited investors prior to the launch of a new offering to participate in that offering. Please act at once to avoid missing out on future opportunities.
