Taking advantage of a present imbalance in real estate capital markets, Wien & Malkin Strategic Capital L.P. (the "Fund") provides capital to real estate entrepreneurs at premium returns.
The Fund is structured to provide high current returns from short term investments with the added prospect that small co-investments may create long term returns and capital appreciation. Peter L. Malkin and Anthony E. Malkin are the sole members of the Fund's General Partner and make final investment decisions. The Fund targets residential, retail and office property types and locations in which the General Partner has a presence and track record. Through Messrs. Malkin and their affiliates, the Fund has broad access to financing prospects and full-service expertise.
This Fund represents an alternative investment offering by Wien & Malkin Securities. The Fund makes opportunistic, diversified investments after the offering, rather than committing to a single identified property in advance. The investments generally are of shorter term and smaller size, and Peter L. Malkin and Anthony E. Malkin will not have sole control of the projects in which investments are made. Investment returns may include ordinary income from interest and fees when accrued or paid, as well as equity distributions with depreciation benefits and capital gain.
