MerrittView was acquired in October 1994 by a Limited Partnership in which Peter L. Malkin and Anthony E. Malkin comprise the General Partner.
The investment is an eight-story 250,000 square feet Trophy multi-tenanted suburban office building located at the intersection of Route 7 and the Merritt Parkway ( one of Fairfield County’s most important intersections), in Norwalk, Connecticut.
The property is situated on 34.5 acres with attractive views combining river, woodland and suburban scenes, distinctive sculptures and a dramatic waterfall and pond.
MerritView was extensively renovated in 1997 and in recognition of the significant improvements to the property, the Building Owners and Managers Association named it 1999 Building of the Year.
